Twelveth Week

This week seems to be boring. I keep waking up late for school other than on Tuesday. I'm way to tired to be doing a bunch of homework, that my teachers seem to be piling up. Having a test on Monday, an essay on Tuesday, and a bunch of homework due the rest of the other days. It also seemed to be Grad spirit week for the second time this school year. I dressed up for all of the days but never joined the group pictures because I didn't see the point in doing them.
Monday was PJ day.
Tuesday was Twins day
Wednesday was 90s day
Thursday was Jocks vs Nerds day
Friday was Blackout day

Every one seemed to dress up in all black on Friday even though it conflicted with PJ day for the rest of the school.

Eleventh Week

This week has been a really tiring week. It has been raining and we had a power outage on Tuesday morning. Tuesday was cut short as the rain storm had cut all the power. With us being the only high school in the district we were let out early to go out and spend the rest of the day at home or go shopping. I had waited with my best friend at the front for the whole lunch block for our mom's to pick us up. I stood outside in the rain for about 5 minutes and was soaked to the bone. I had to go back inside so I wasn't that soaked when I got in the car. My best friend, Rhiannon had stayed inside and was making phone calls to her boyfriend and texting her mom. When my mom came to pick me up, I noticed that my brother was driving the car. So I said bye to her and ran out of the school, trying to get to the car as fast as I could. So I spent the rest of the afternoon at Hillside checking out stores, and my mom trying to persuade me into getting a new dress for winter formal. But in the end I still chose the first dress I had gotten the month earlier.

Grad Formal Asking

On Tuesday around 2:30 pm. I had waited for my friend to come see me, as he had asked to meet up with me. It was my free period and I usually went home after my last class. I knew what was going to happen today, seeing as me and my best friend had talked about it last Friday when I had waited for the bus with her before walking the rest of the way home.
He was late. He said that he would be here at 1:40 but he wasn't here. So I waited and waited for him to come show up, which felt like forever. I went to Tim Hortons and hung out with a friend who I haven't talked to since 9th grade. We talked for about 40 mins. before starting to head out and go back to school. When I walked out, I saw that my friend was just walking up to the doors. I gave him a hug and he lead me back inside to get some food with his friend. He took my hand and lead me outside to his friends truck. When we got there, he told me to close my eyes. So I did. As I waited with my eyes closed, the song 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran started playing. The same song that we had danced to on Halloween night. Telling me to open my eyes, I saw him with a single rose and a box of merci chocolate in both of his hands. I can't explain how I felt at that moment. So when he asked me to go with him to Winter Formal, I said "Yes". That was a great day even if it meant having to freeze in the morning while running a practice rehearsal for the remembrance assembly. <3<3

Tenth Week

Its the second week of November and I'm happy to say that its my mom's birthday. The sad thing is that I stayed up till 3am this morning and only got 3 hours of sleep....AGAIN!!! Having to study for tests is hard seeing as I have 2 biology tests one day after another. Studying for different sections is easy but hard after getting your test. I knew I should've studied this morning while I got ready for school, because when I arrived late into class this morning and was handed my quiz, I forgot the beginning part of the many veins and arteries that was sectioned off with letters. Near the end of the quiz my teacher stood next to the bench I had labelled my own since the start of the year, with my best friend next to me. The pressure was real when he stared down at my sheet, that only contained half of all the answers, and kept saying if I was going to at least guess what part was what. Unable to focus and remember the parts, I gave up and handed my sheet to him.
On Tuesday, I had gotten up really early to go to school and prepare for the remembrance day assembly that was being held before lunch time. Getting to school I had to change into my dress for the dance we would be performing. But seeing as it was freezing cold that morning, the cold air had traveled and circulated through the whole gymnasium. We had to re-run the dance about 3-4 times that morning to perfect and video tape the dance without everyone seeing it. With the gym being freezing cold my feet had become frozen and numb while we danced for the last 2 times. I was stiff and couldn't move as much in the freezing cold. I was happy to know that I could get some toast before first block but I ended up not going to it. That was due to doing a run through of how the assembly was going to start and how it was going to end. Having a little bit of time after the run through I had left school to get some coffee from the Tim Horton's across the street with my fellow dance mate, Britney. We spent the rest of our first class having coffee and just talking about our classes. When the bell rang to signal us that first class was over, we had separated ways to go to our next class. When I get to Biology I had told my teacher that I had to leave early to get ready for the assembly that would be held 40 mins later. So before leaving class, I had finished my biology heart quiz and took a few notes before leaving the class and heading down to the theater room to get ready with the other girls. We had gotten changed into our dresses for the second time that morning and started to fix our hair and make up. After that we had blasted Justin Bieber's new songs and started to stretch and get ready for the assembly to start. Before the assembly started we had left the theater and headed towards the gym to get seated in our reserved seating area in the front. Once everyone had filed into the gym and took a seat somewhere on the bleachers or the seats that were scattered and lined up on the gym floor. The assembly had started and had ended in the most respectful way, we did not clap or cheer we had stayed silent and respected the whole assembly in peace. I had even teared up near the end of the assembly when the slideshow was showing the family members, of the staff and students here at Reynolds, that had been involved in the world wars or are still out there helping out with the wars that are being held in today's society. I had paid my respects by honoring those who had died to give us a better future that we should be living in today.
The whole morning was dedicated to the people who had died for us and we should not forget that they went to war to give us a better life the what we could've had.

"In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below."

Ninth Week

It's the first week of November, which means next week will be the time I will be performing a group dance with my fellow dancers. Thinking that this week would be great, I was totally wrong. After having an okay day of school on Monday, I was left alone for a few hours seeing as my mom was working till midnight and my dad and brother were out in Sidney, fishing. When my dad called the house and told me to cook rice and wash the dishes. I had discovered that in the dishwasher, a mug and a plate were broken into 2-3 pieces and a glass cup was starting to crack on one side. So I went out across the street, to the dollar store to see if they had any superglue that was able to hold ceramic. During my time in the dollar store I saw a fellow Reynolds Graduate, Kristy, working at the cashier and a fellow writing classmate, Emma. We had talked about what was soon to be due for writing class the next day. After buying the glue and a pair of earphones, I went home to repair the mug and finish doing my chores before my dad and brother came home from Sidney. Trying to open the packaging was difficult and I had resorted to using a pair of scissors which then resulted into me stabbing myself in the hand. That started my bad luck for the week.
Tuesday I was closing the house door for my brother, when he pushes the door and hits my hand and really close to my face.
Wednesday
On Thursday morning, I was running late to school and had to walk 10 minutes over here. Carrying my biology binder and English novel I started to walk down the staircase in the foyer. But with my bad luck this week, I had missed a step and fell down the rest of the way down. I had bruised my knees and elbows, hurt my chest, and got hit in the stomach with my binder. The only good thing about that day was that nobody saw me fall down the stairs. So I went the day slightly embarrassed.
On Friday, I found out I had popped my shoulder out of its socket due to the pain in my left arm. When I got home I saw that my shoulder was bruised and it was not the same as the other one.
